UMUS has been implementing ongoing community outreach activities such as girls’ football matches at local schools in Assasuni and Kachua, organized with support from the Manusher Jonno Foundation. While the specific football event was in December 2023, similar initiatives appear to be recurring as part of youth and empowerment engagement.

UMUS (Uddipto Mohila Unnayan Sangstha) is a non-governmental organization working for Dalit women and children empowerment in Satkhira since 2003. UMUS is registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) of Bangladesh.
